Do you want to see some of the most beautiful country out there? An Alaskan Cruise will show you just that. You will see amazing snow topped glaciers, wildlife, the open waters, and historical landmarks. In addition you will have great activities on the cruise ship as well including casinos, clubs, delicious food, and the opportunity to meet new people.
How long of a cruise are you looking for? You should give yourself at least one week to enjoy all Alaska has to offer. You can take a three or four day cruise but you won’t get to stop at ports and explore. One of the most popular adventures is riding in a helicopter to the top of a glacier. Imagine the view from up there! Some Alaskan cruises last for a full three weeks! The itinerary you choose depends on the time, money, and amount of curiosity about Alaska you have.
There are long Alaskan cruises that will take you across Anchorage, Denali Park, Fairbanks, Seward, and the Talk Etna area. If you will only be indulging on a short Alaskan cruise you will have to select one or two of the areas. Make sure you are prepared for the weather. Some people envision Alaska as an extremely cold place all year long. While it does get cold there, they do have warmer times of the year.
